The two Nederland teams go to Lumberton. Should be a good early season test for these teams, and some nice weather for the 7:00 game.

I don't think Ned B will have any problems with Lum R but the second game should be a good one

I think nederland white might surprise people this year.  Good returners and strong line

Saw the two Lumberton teams play this weekend and the Red team plays tough D. Only saw second half of the white teams game so couldn't really judge them. The game had already been decided at that point.

another cake walk for the nederland boys in junior again this year.  LCM might be a good game for them though

saw beaumont juniors practice against each other, hopefully they have made alot of improvements or it will be a long year for them.

I know the Ned teams will be good they always are. I didn't get to see Lum W play much Saturday but I do know some of the kids on that team. Get back to me Monday on the cake walk CardinalPride.

The word around nederland is that the black team is the stronger of the 2, I think the white team may suprise some people again this year.

Hunch you must have missed the scrimmage Tuesday , I'm pretty sure white has the edge , but black is good too.

I thought both teams played well and very tough. That was one of the hardest played junior games I've seen in a while, was really fun to watch.

The Beaumont Gold and PNG White Junior game was a slug fest. Ended in a 27-27 tie...

Sounds like the Beaumont teams did well, haven't been able to watch them play yet.

I believe they play the Lumberton teams after the break. Look forward to seeing them play.

I didn't see the injury, heard it was an ankle. Hopefully he'll be good to go for next game.

You're right both these teams will be a tough out as the year goes.
