Lol.. You know honestly I would be a lot more supportive of a team that lost if some of these guys hadn't run their mouth about how inderstructible Newton was. And how they were in a different class or league or whatever than Kirbyville. I am 100% behind Newton in every way. I just had to make sure these guys were brought back down to reality. Nobody is unbeatable.

Kind of like bad passes, dropped passes, injuries, etc?  I'm not associated with either school.  But I live closer to BC.  You know, the team that beat you guys too?

Go back and read my posts. I never made excuses for our loss to BC. Never once, not at any time. They beat us just as fair as humanly possible. In fact I said that the bad passes and interceptions and injuries and such as that were part of football. Get your story straight here fella. I'm calling out the Newton faithful that were running their mouth over how 'indestructible' their team was. Doses of reality can sting sometimes.

BC does have a decent squad. But when you say Newton will only win by 10 to 14 points is like you are saying they are the same caliber. Let's be realistic for a minute and understand that Newton is playing at a way higher level this. I know I'll catch hell for this but the only team that will come close to beating Newton will either be Henderson or WOS. And I just can't see WOS beating Newton this year. Newton started this season with a bang against a really good Tatum squad. Granted it's the first game of the season and things do change. But the Newton team this year is 10x better than last years and WOS team still looks the same. I'm not a hater, I am a realist. To impress me you have to show me your improvements. Back to BC, I am impressed you squeezed a win passed Kville and I'm a huge believer that BC will make a good run. But side by side, BC is not playing even close to the same caliber. Much respect and good luck to both teams.

Edit: Oh also I believe that the WOS/Newton game should be called the Battle For Southeast Texas. There isnt a team 5a down that can compete at their level.

ok let me be clear I said there isn't a team at this point that can BEAT WOS/Newton. Only problem with your statement is your still putting BC at the WOS/Newton level. I'm not taking anything away from them. And  most people would say I'm partial to Newton but facts are facts. The last balls the wall BC team was in the early 2000s. They gave Newton a run for their money. But fact is this Newton team isn't as nearly as bad as that Newton team and this years BC team isn't as good as the early 2000s BC team. 

Let me address PNG AND NEDERLAND. You guys are funny. Your extremely huge schools with definitive numbers on your side and can probably rotate your players every down. It's HILARIOUS to see their fans get butt hurt. The biggest game of yalls seasons are against each other lol. There is a reason you reason you struggle with WOS and it's not because your good.

BC is back... thank you. Lol.. These are the kinds of statements some of the Newton posters have been saying. They have this delusional image of a team that can't be beat. You've done good if you 'only' lost by 50 to the great and powerful Newton Eagles. The fact is, Newton is just like every other team out there. They are not playing at another level or a class above or anything else. They are *gasp* BEATABLE! Good luck to Newton. I know you will continue to do amazingly well. But calm down some of you backers. Lol.. Your team is made up of high school kids. The same as all of ours.

BC as it turns out has a great team this year. Much better than anyone expected. I was fully confident we would beat BC. And even though it was a close game, I was wrong because we lost. My problem here is that that loss was used by these Newton posters as some sort of 'proof' of how weak...or excuse me, 'over-rated'.... we are and how great they are. This loss, along with Kirbyville's loss to BC serves 3 purposes....1) It shows everyone that BC is for real this year. MUCH better than most ANYONE gave them credit for.. 2) Kirbyville is as good as advertised and... 3) Newton is no better (or worse) than anyone else. The game is settled on the field. Geez I love football.

Newton and kville are both great teams but it's just that they both are beatable as proven but they will both still do good And best of luck to both

I am a Newton Fan and let me say congratulations on the win and good luck in the future. I do not think Newton is unbeatable because all of the teams they play are in higher divisions and I told you of their weaknesses, but all of this is good preparation for District and Division play, and besides the more games they win the better we look. I have no excuses and never will have. You play the game for a reason.
