Would You Vote For A Moderate?

Unfortunately I have:  Dole, McCain and Romney.  And you see where that got me.  A moderate couldn't even beat the worst President in history!  But, no -- I would not vote for a moderate in a primary.  As I've stated before, go to any library and show me all the books on "great moderates in history!"

I'm no political expert, but wasn't Reagan pretty moderate compared to the GOP hopefuls these days?

Yep he just threatens to cut off the billions we are giving them .

As of September 2014, the data shows disbursements from the United States to Mexico totaling $15.4 million, with $7.1 million going for democracy, human rights and governance, $4.4 million for environment, $2.9 million for economic development, $0.6 million for education and $0.5 million for program management.

That will build a wall around my back yard.  Where are you getting this "billions" number?

you seen no difference in Romney and Obama. We'll if I was a TRUE conservative I'll do anything voting wise to make sure a dem don't get the office..

Obama care = ROMNEYCARE .........there was no difference......they both supported abortion at some level.....both for gun control.......two sides of the same coin, just like the "two" parties.....there is no difference anymore........BOTH "parties" are authoritarian fascists who want nothing but to control your every move........a TRUE conservative will never sell out and support a moderate, because we know that moderate is just a nice, politically correct way to say liberal.......

    • Solid week.  Alone in 4th for the playoffs.  If I hadn’t started off down 16-18 picks after 4 weeks I’d be up near the top 🤦🏻‍♂️
    • This is good info. It doesn’t really break out for student athletes though. LP & (I think) DP are open enrollment because of the way the towns intertwine. That’s the way it’s been for many years anyway. I assume it still is that way. The kids have a choice after Jr. High to go to either High School because LPISD has elementary schools in DP. As I recall, DP didn’t want to build out more (Robin Hood issues), and so DPISD & LPISD came to an arrangement because LPISD is one of the highest givers to Robin Hood in the state, and it helped both keep more funds in district. Of course, LPISD is open to all. Not just DP, and LPISD is rated well. So, I assume they have kids from elsewhere also. Not positive though. They used to have a lot because—for decades—DeWalt was the only dedicated public school in the GHA that specifically catered to special needs kids. Families from all over enrolled. But, they didn’t participate in extracurricular activities like sports. So, LP’s total enrollment made them 6A. But, they were really a 5A school all along for sports program sake. This is all as best as I can recall from when I was more involved in school issues. I’m sure a lot has changed since then. My kids have been out for 20 years.
    • Our playoff rivalry. They hold a 6-5 edge in the series. I think Newton continues the win streak in a hard fought contest. What say y’all?
    • Has Elmo gotten his aggy premature extension yet?  Pay him already because you guys were exactly right - he really does “get you.” 😂🤣
