tvc184 Posted September 5, 2015 Report Posted September 5, 2015 One liberal is just as good as another.......I won't sell out or compromise with liberalism just because the liberal calls himself a republican........ I hate to break this to you but there is no way in our current political system that a third party candidate can do anything except help guarantee one of the first two parties a victory. To make it shorter, a Democrat or Republican will be the next president and no third party candidate will change that. You can write Mickey Mouse in and stomp your feet in protest to show your feelings but it will not change any of the above. If you believe that Romney would have been the same as Obama then I have serious doubts of your reasoning ability. It didn't matter if you voted in TX because Romney beat Obama by 16% but in general, the Democrats still appreciate your support of their candidate by voting for a meaningless third party or simply skipping the polls altogether. drewlsu Posted September 5, 2015 Report Posted September 5, 2015 How about Bernie runs as libertarian, Hilary as Socialist/democrat, Trump as independent and Carson as Republican?I'm in favor of multiple parties. Straight ticket voting shouldn't be an option. Quote

Straight ticket voting shouldn't be an option.Straight ticket is stupid however as long as they list the party affiliation next to the name on the ballot, a person can still simple go through and click the party of choice. If we run four different people in the general election, we will throw the president choice to the House of Representatives. In this case, the Republicans in the House would choose the next president. Quote

I'm not compromised morally about not selling out my conservative beliefs to support a liberal......in your scenario, the liberals win no matter the outcome......a moderate republican is a liberal victory......i question YOUR reasoning ability if you are not capable of realizing that little fact......
