The Newton Eagles and Bridge City Cardinals continue their respective 2015 seasons as the Eagles trek down Highway 87 to Orange County tonight.  W.T. Johnston's Eagles, 1-0 on the season, opened up their 2015 campaign with a 37-28 victory over Tatum.  Dwayne Dubois' Cardinals also leaped out to a 1-0 start on the season, defeating Kirbyville 24-21.  Newton was victorious in last year's contest, 45-14.

LB # 7 for Newton is EVERYWHERE. BC LB 13 Dearing with a MONSTER HIT on the Newton QB causing the fumble that led to BC's 2nd TD. Newton is fast as advertised.
