Cougar14.2 Posted September 5, 2015 Report Posted September 5, 2015 Crosby (2-0) vs Barbers Hill (1-1) in Mont Belvieu on 9-11BH got back in track with win over LCM while Crosby has won 20 of their last 22 regular season games. It's going to be interesting to see how well Barbers Hill can move the ball given their first opportunity against a 5A front. Mr. Buddy Garrity 1 Quote

Guest Posted September 6, 2015 Report Posted September 6, 2015 Wish I could say BH in this one, but have to be realistic. I do think BH will not roll over, they will play with heart and have some good sticks on defense, but heart ain't going to win this one. 35-17 Crosby, Being that BH does not throw, they eat a lot of the clock, so keeps Crosby offense off the field, so for this game, it might be good not to pass too much just to keep it within reach, play action will not fool them. . Best defense in this game is the offense and keeping their offense off the field. If they don't Crosby could put up more., BH will get some points, Rogers will get his yards and find the end zone and BH will have a couple of good drives. Think BH will keep it respectful. Who knows, Crosby could come out thinking ti will be a cake walk and find themselves in a game.. BH will have nothing to lose in this one, they are huge underdogs, so hopefully will leave it all on the field, its just one of those things where Crosby has been loaded the last few years and have a good coach to boot.. Who knows the way BH is growing, it wont be but a few more years and BH may find they are in the same situation as Crosby, but not this year. Footballfan1209 1 Quote

Cougar14.2 Posted September 6, 2015 Author Report Posted September 6, 2015 *Off topic - Something for the Crosby fansCongrats to Austin Walter on his first ever college game. He rushed for 107 yards on 12 carries and had a touchdown in his Rice debut. Congrats to Clayton Callicutt in being named pre-season All-America at #12 San Angelo. Had 6 tackles, 2tfl, and a sack in the opener. Kid is as legit as they come at the D2 level and a potential late round draft pick, definitely will get a shot on the league though. Congrats to Donnie Starks, one FBS offer but has become the starter in the nickel at Kansas State. Kid is going to play a bunch of football for one of the best coaches in the country, Bill Snyder. Biggest congrats of all goes to Dominic Merka who received his bachelor's degree from #2 TCU last May but will be finishing up his eligibility while receiving his 4th letter this fall. If you believe you can achieve. Pepper Brooks, Mr. Buddy Garrity, Coug88 and 2 others 5 Quote

Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted September 7, 2015 Report Posted September 7, 2015 I'll take Crosby 37-10 For my own reasons I hope they take it to those Barbie Dolls out the saltdome. Lol Quote
HurricaneCal Posted September 7, 2015 Report Posted September 7, 2015 Looking for some things to get cleaned up, Crosby won't take them lightly, 32-13 Crosby. Quote
Cougtalk Posted September 7, 2015 Report Posted September 7, 2015 Crosby gave up no points to Angleton. Gave up 1 offensive touchdown versus a team that dropped 40 on Dayton. If BH scores it will be a big accomplishment. Honestly 56 / 0 is my view. Cougar14.2 1 Quote
