on a positive note, they're fun to shoot and delicious.  it could be worse.

Anyone even see anything yet? The only thing that I have found interesting so far is an arrow that I lost more than two years ago in front of my wife's blind. Not much is it?

Westend1 killed an axis doe.  I've got pigs and does on my feeder, and a guy with a stand pretty close to mine has a couple of nice bucks on his.

I ve got a 10 pt and an 8 pt coming along with does.  Won't let me attach pics for some reason so I can't show yall.  Says file is too large only up to 225 kbs but the pic is 87 kbs.

I have that problem, too.  I've got a nice ten and a weird either 4 or 6 point that's probably a 4 1/2 year old deer with two giant crab claws.

Went out to fill feeders yesterday after work and had a doe run out in front of me, stop look at me driving towards her. She then ran away from me up the gravel road then turned back and went into the same patch of woods she came out of. As soon as she turned and went back into the woods an buck came running out where she came out of, never even looked at me driving up the road ran right after her.  COuldn't tell what he was but he did look wide enough to be legal.  This was in south Jasper county.

I did the same Monday evening and ran off a doe and what appeared to be a legal 8 pt by cam pics.

I'm starting to get excited!  Gonna sit with my buddy's kid at his lease Saturday morning, then go do some scouting/pig hunting the rest of the weekend.

it's all good...  i'm just excited to get out there, and it looks like its going to rain all  night tonight into tomorrow morning.  might be  decent tomorrow evening since the rain tonight will cover up the fullish moon.

Anyone kill anything?  I let one small spike walk, and that was all I saw

I got some meat(doe) and saw about 15 this weekend, yet one of our best stands has only had one deer seen. Another stand had a shooter 8 some small bucks and a ten that was only 12 inches wide.

I let a 10pt have a pass last weekend. He came out and fed all around for over 30 minutes. He was a young deer otherwise I would have taken him.  I really hope he makes it until next year, he is a monster in the making.  I tried to post a pic but it said the file was too large.

Took a pretty decent doe today.  Have 6 hogs coming every night or two to the feeder in the pasture behind my house.  With this full moon coming I might try to get some pork tomorrow or the next night

Shot a boar almost 300 lbs on the feeder behind my house tonight. I'd post a pic but I haven't mastered it on the new board yet
