Saw Ben Carson on RFD TV having a town hall type meeting with the farming community.

When asked about subsidies for agriculture, he point blank said he was not for subsidies of any kind...the message didn't seem to be well received.

From what I've seen so far, he doesn't change his views based on the crowd he's with.

Defense spending is Constitutional...you always seem to forget this.

And yes, many folks don't like to see defense spending cut when welfare never is.

Like tvc has said before, the number one function of the government is to protect us from our enemies. Defense spending is a necessity.

There is jobs out there....people to ____ lazy to go work.  Especially manual labor jobs that don't require an education.  Govt stop feeding people, people will eventually get hungry enough to go work or commit crimes.  AND THAT IS A CHOICE.

As humans we are responsible for ourselves and our children if you have any.  Its not the govt s job to provide you food, shelter, water, healthcare, cell phone, 22s , jordans, etc etc. I have no compassion for people who expect everyone else to take care of them.  Even the U.S.A. poor people are in the top 1% of the world population.  Take your ridiculous excuses to another country before you start complaining.
