I must admit that Texas has had a hard time adjusting to losing their whipping boys in CS. Kind of like when Marvin Zindler shutdown the chicken ranch. Aggies had to open up campus to coeds.  Then there were the lonely sheep. Haha

I'm not saying he's the best passer I've seen but apparently Heard is a different kid in game situations.  The word has been Swoopes is a better passer.  Not from what I've seen.  And no contest with their legs.

5 Rice turnovers didn't hurt things.  Rice had almost double the total yards and triple time of possession.  Great win though.

Difference was the two punt returns honestly.  Heard appeared light years better than Swoopes but the defense looked horrible.   A lot of freshman in playing but they are going to have to grow up quick or they are going to have a long season the way the Big 12 slings it around.

defense has nothing to do with generating TO's.

Jefferson looked good enough toting the pig, maybe he could get some more looks on offense. 

Certainly glad this young man wears Burnt Orange. He is very classy young man who make me proud.
