Wo-s vs Silsbee

In order for Silsbee to keep it close or win they must be able to get the running game going, stop the careless penalties on offense, and get off the field on 3rd down on defense. The past few years WOS has killed us in those areas. This year's Silsbee team has a certain edge to them. A certain swagger that would compare to the 2009 team that beat WOS in the mud bowl.

Silsbee has speed and skill that might challenge wos early, but the weak opponents they have faced so far will hurt them! This mustang team is very fast and have many players that can beat you! Jack Dallas is the truth! He will make the best play for his team 99/100 times! The stands defense has gotten better every week and will continue to do so!

wos-35

silsbee-14

I saw Silsbee in-person tonight, nothing bad on them but I thought they struggled with Livingston for a long while in the first half. If they do that versus WOS the game will be over by halftime. I like to think Silsbee will be amped up to play since its WOS. Cant have penalties bringing TDs back, I counted 2 while I was there.

Silsbee will be amped up just like in pasted year's. ....Same outcome maybe even worse this yr....lol

WOS is favored as always. I do expect Silsbee to bring their A plus plus game next week. It still may not be enough but it won't be 35-0 like last year. Silsbeeis a much different team and will move the ball vs WOS. I think the final score will be closer than most expect at WOS 34 Silsbee 26! Hopefully they will play in Silsbee.

At the beginning of the year I was worried about the size of our DB's and knew that PNG was going to be a tough test because of the size of their receivers, but after the game, I felt like we did a good job of holding them which makes me feel better about Silsbee's tall WR's. I do not think Silsbee will be able to run the ball consistently against us. What I fear most is of that big QB getting loose. We are going to have to contain him because he is big and he likes to take off with it and it takes a while to slow him down. We can't let him extend drives with his feet. We're going to have to pressure him but not over pursue. Also play good pass coverage which we have been doing. On offense we just need to keep doing what we've been doing. Like KJ says, PYP...

the thing that always concerns me in this matchup is the speed on the defensive line that WOS always seems to have. It gives the Tigers fits. If we don't do a good job handling that it will be a long night for the Tigers.

That's why at WOS we win alot of games. If you dominate in the Trenches you win football games.. That's always the game plan going into games, weekend and weekout.   When you dominate in the Trenches the rest follow.  #Football1on1
