Six starters did not start due to injuries, stomach flu, and healing up.  An athlete that has never played running back before started and did a hell of a job. I can't wait for cougar14 to posts his stats. Game was never close even though the refs tried like hell to keep it that way.  But sometimes you score so fast even the refs couldn't figure out what just happened.

Oh good Lord guys, you beat Barbers Hill.  Seriously??  A team everybody in a 5-state region knows is "out-athleted" at nearly every position by nearly every team they play with maybe the exception of Porter.  And you're gonna come on here and beat your chest like you accomplished the greatest feat since the dawn of man..  Seriously??  You just beat a team soundly,  with your scrubs... Bully bully for you; that proves nothing other than what most have been saying all along, BH just doesn't have the "hosses" consistently or in quantity to run with likes of Crosby, King, et al!, but that's no reason to not play the game!! It's precisely this kind of textual "mine is bigger", AFTER-GAME rhetoric why most people on this board don't WANT to give Crosby the props they deserve because you act like that.  The Crosby football team doesn't need validation from a bunch of old "has beens"on this board, they are VERY good and  prove it on the fields!!  The question to ask, is why do YOU need it on here???

...and as far as the comments about coming to the Hill to get "hosed" by the refs...it happens to every team at everybody ELSE'S field or court or diamond!! Bad calls happen in almost every game, in all sports, at ALL levels!! All those centuries ago, we hated going to the Golden Triangle to play because we felt we had to deal with the refs bad calls!!  Unfortunately guys, it's a part of the game!! Yeah I wished they NEVER happened...I also wished I made $10 mil a year, had abs of steel, and didn't have to worry about getting fatter and older!!!  (Ain't gonna happen!!)

It's funny how every year there is a team in this area that is "ranked" and their fans get on here running their mouths and when they get into the playoffs they can't get past the 3rd round.....all you did last night is beat a mediocre team from BH. Nothing against them, but to them a kid running a 4.7 is fast. I get you had some kids not playing,  but that shouldn't matter if you ranked #2 IN TEXAS.......hope you have a deep run and you better go undefeated in district cause if you don't do either your over rated.

I'm close friends with alot of Crosby folks, thank goodness they don't act like the clowns on here. I'm having flashbacks of SC fans. They had a couple of good years and acted the same way. I've been on this board when Crosby was everyone's b#&! $. Tides will change and a few of you Crosby keyboard warriors will silently go away.

I think Crosby fans were just going to be content just to report the score and say "Good game". One BH fan said he was not impressed andCrosby is overrated and three Triangle fans were acting like we lost. Crosby played BH better than they did last year, they just won by 4 less points. 

At this point last year Crosby had given up 720 yards and 42 points, on offense they had gained 1,196 yards and scored 93 total points. This year they've given up 669 yards and 39 points, on offense they gained 1,501 yards and scored 109 total points. After three games last year the average margin of victory was 17ppg, this year it's over 23ppg. 

As long as we don't have any more injuries this team will be harder to beat than the one last year come playoff time.

Intro at the top says "Ten years of serving Southeast Texas", we've been to the playoffs all ten of those and are 6-2 vs teams not named Dayton in bi-district during that span. If you lose by 19 but say you really could've lost by 30+ and are not impressed you're going to have some folks point some things out. 

In the Vype preseason interview BH players said that this was their biggest game of the season. They played like it for a half. Were you impressed when Crosby beat you 30-7 in Crosby last year? BH had 227 yards of offense last year, this year they had 21 more. Crosby had 414 yards, this year they had 532 and 10 more points. 

I remember BH's good year in 2011, you would've thought they way their fans were talking that they had won a playoff game or something.

You can take up for people bumping their gums all you want, but I guess I'm just old school. Be humble about it and you gain respect. Champions don't have to tell people they are  good.....people know they are. You were suppose to beat the hill and put up 60+. If you ranked #2 IN TEXAS. it's like Baylor is suppose to put up 70+ on Lamar. When they do I don't think they will boast about it. Stop demanding respect for stuff your suppose to do. The reason I liked the Walters brothers so much is I didn't see them running their mouths trying to tell people they were good. Fans are way to quick to claim greatness......mid county folks are the same way.....it usually shows when it's passed down to players running their mouths on the field as well......man I can't stand turds

You respected the Walters twins because they weren't on here running their mouths.  There aren't any current players on here running their mouths either.  It's funny, because I can't stand disgruntled turds either.  As far as beating people by putting up 60 points on them, do a little research and see when the last time Crosby put 60 on anyone.

I agree that there are not players on here, that we know of, running their mouths.....I was talking about actions on the field. As for putting up 60.....if your ranked #2 IN TEXAS then you should be putting up 60 on the hill....again just my opinion

Oh and I'm not disgruntled. ....I'm not from the hill.....I have no investment in any place, just like good football

Then when you do put up 60, I promise bully will be the next thing said.  Why did your team feel the need to do that.....could have put in 3rd string.  Risking injury to put up 60 on a team that.....blah blah blah.  

Have never known our players to bump their gums on the field more than any other team.  Stop looking for an issue.  Geez.

If you like good football, then go check out one of their games.  Hopefully, they can get healthy soon and watch the defense.  Also, when they get a lead, back ups do play.  Sometimes they score, sometimes they don't. Trying to stay healthy is more important than putting up 60.

BTW twins have been gone for 2 years,  so I am not sure what you are saying about all the other young men on that team that conduct themselves with class and sportsmanship.  Move along or keep up, because you are missing out.
