bullets13
Lamar went down 7-0 early, but had a really impressive 88-yard drive to tie it up, and just stopped Baylor on 4th down to get the ball back with pretty good field position. Lamar will likely eventually get run over, but this looks like a better team than they've been fielding the last several years.

bullets13
Lamar missed a big opportunity when they had two direct hits on the qb about 12 yards behind the line of scrimmage. Now down 21-
bullets13
Lamar flagged for 2 unsportsmanlike penalties, both deserved. Baylor not flagged for at least 2, equally deserved.

bullets13
I don't think I'd have bet money that Lamar would score 21 for the whole game, but I would've bet my house that Lamar would not be tied at 21 nearing the end of the second quarter. bullets13
Lamar with a screen play where the reciever was wrapped up and tackled as the ball was thrown, and Lamar is flagged for intentional grounding because the receiver was tackled out of the vicinity of where the play was going. bullets13
Well, Baylor will probably win this one by 40, but that was fun while it lasted. Mr. Buddy Garrity

Mr. Buddy Garrity
TD Lamar! 59-31, Baylor leads, but I'm very impressed with the cards. they competed, some FBS schools dont even do that versus BU.
bullets13
while i was impressed with lamar, i am NOT impressed with the fact that baylor scored a touchdown on 1st and 10 with 1:15 left in the game and a running clock. gotta be classy and kneel out. lamar played hard and deserved that much.
