Stattrax Posted September 14, 2015 Report Posted September 14, 2015 Something needs to change for sure... How can the University of Texas be so lackluster in all sports? To me its simple, if you are the CEO, and your stocks are going down every year, you have got to go... Its just like Charlie Strong, I think he is a good coach, but I think he was hired for a position he cannot succeed in... You have to play the politics in Austin.. Unless you are a Nick Saban type..... Quote

htownfan Posted September 15, 2015 Report Posted September 15, 2015 I like Mack as commentator. I would love to see Mack get an offer as AD. It would be a great fit for both him and the program. He is built for that type of job and he knows the program well. OldTimer and Mr. Buddy Garrity 2 Quote

I was told certain BMDs confirmed to Fenves that big checks were coming if Patterson was gone. Quote
OldTimer Posted September 15, 2015 Report Posted September 15, 2015 I do think that Texas could do worse that having Mack Brown as AD.I was a Mack Brown fan even when they fired him as I think they gave him bum rap when they fired him in the first place (even though several posters on this site disagree with me).But the best part would be the irony of Mack replacing the man that fired him - gotta love UT if they allow that to happen.
