BLUEDOVE3 Posted September 15, 2015 Report Posted September 15, 2015 Man, if I had a dog in this fight, I would say Central would go undefeated this year. I'm going to miss pumping up Central each year. Quote
BLUEDOVE3 Posted September 15, 2015 Report Posted September 15, 2015 P.S.Expect some major drama coming over the horizon. Quote

stevenash Posted September 15, 2015 Report Posted September 15, 2015 I have heard that if the player is living with his parents in BISD, he will be able to play. IF he is living with a legal guardian, then that legal guardian will have had to be his legal guardian ( court documented) for one calendar year before he is eligible. Quote

I don't think he will see varsity action until next season. Quote

AggiesAreWe Posted September 15, 2015 Report Posted September 15, 2015 I have been told neither will see varsity action this year wherever they enroll. Will have to sit out a year and play JV ball. Quote

AggiesAreWe Posted September 15, 2015 Report Posted September 15, 2015 (edited) I have heard that if the player is living with his parents in BISD, he will be able to play. Both players are staying with guardians.Neither will be eligible to play varsity ball this season. Edited September 15, 2015 by AggiesAreWe Quote
stevenash Posted September 15, 2015 Report Posted September 15, 2015 Dayum, the horizon already rising.Dove, have you talked to the Yates coach and let him know what he is missing? Quote
BLUEDOVE3 Posted September 15, 2015 Report Posted September 15, 2015 Yep, because everybody's perception is that its all about athletics. He just happens to be tall and plays basketball. If it was all about athletics, he would not have chosen a public school like Central or a private school like Kelly. He could easily have attended a basketball prep school and risen among the high school basketball Gods. Let the kid play varsity. Mr. Buddy Garrity 1 Quote
BMTSoulja1 Posted September 15, 2015 Report Posted September 15, 2015 Don't matter, with or without them, we'll still be a force to be reckoned with this year... Quote
BLUEDOVE3 Posted September 15, 2015 Report Posted September 15, 2015 Don't matter, with or without them, we'll still be a force to be reckoned with this year...Yes, I predict Central will make playoffs without this student. CATMAN 1 Quote
BLUEDOVE3 Posted September 15, 2015 Report Posted September 15, 2015 Yates had TWO Africans two years ago over 6'8" and they still made playoffs but did not win State. They eventually went off to prep schools Mr. Buddy Garrity 1 Quote
BLUEDOVE3 Posted September 15, 2015 Report Posted September 15, 2015 Actually, if the kid wanted to come to a school for basketball, he would do better in prep school where he would face more high level D1 competition. So obviously he is coming here for other reasons than sports. Mr. Buddy Garrity 1 Quote
Pumper Posted September 15, 2015 Report Posted September 15, 2015 Clearly he's either Catholic (Kelly) or plans to be a Dr. (Central Medical Magnet). Duh...................... Quote
