KingCat_15 Posted March 28, 2016 Report Posted March 28, 2016 Kirbyville's Pitching is carrying them this year! Two very good starters and a young lefty that can slam the door shut at the end. Quote
IT'S IN THE BONE Posted March 29, 2016 Report Posted March 29, 2016 MOSSHILL...definitely Warren under performing in my opinion...Hardin is playing good ball. I hope they keep it up because they have some talented young men. Quote

I hope they keep it up because they have some talented young men. I would say Warren Would be at the top with Kirbyville. I know Buna and Kountze lost a lot and Anahuac is headed in the right direction so 3-4 are up for grabs in my opinion. But I also think 4-6 can finish in any order as well. Terrier and Pav always have their teams prepared to play. 1. Warren 2. Kirbyville 3. Anahuac 4. Buna 5. Kountze 6. Hardin 7. East Chambers 8. bulldog16 Posted April 23, 2016 Report Posted April 23, 2016 Kirbyville is your winner this year. Hardin should be 2nd with Kountze 3rd and Buna/Warren winner 4th. Quote
MossHill Posted April 24, 2016 Report Posted April 24, 2016 Hardin (9-3) has two games left in order to finish 2nd place in this district: Apr. 26 - at East Chambers, 6 pm* Apr. 29 - Warren, 6 pm* Quote

Yes, they are good players but there was a time they were a combined 3 for 30 in district and it was the others in the lineup that picked up the slack. Quote

Ah gotcha, I don't think Cleveland is a pitcher. Jones and Gore have been a good 1-2 punch. Stats are probably on game changer or max preps. That's what most are using. Quote
IT'S IN THE BONE Posted April 24, 2016 Report Posted April 24, 2016 IF Kountze wins out and Warren wins out and Buna beats Anahauc and assuming Kirbyville continues to take care of business.... Kountze and Hardin may have to play-off for second and third seed Buna and Warren may end up in a play-off to decide the Fourth seed. ****this district is a really fun district to follow! Let's the chips fall where they may...lol Quote
bulldog16 Posted April 24, 2016 Report Posted April 24, 2016 Kirbyville 12-0***District Champ and #1 seed Anahuac and Deweyville Hardin 9-3 EC and Warren Kountze 8-4 Deweyville and Buna Buna 7-5 Warren and Kountze Warren 5-6 Deweyville, Buna and Hardin Deweyville 4-7 Warren, Kountze and Kirbyville Big games left this week. Kirbyville is the only one that has a seed wrapped up. The rest of the district could get dicey depending how the games wind up. Kountze has beaten Warren twice so they hold the tie breaker if they end up tied. If they haven't locked up a spot already, Hardin is a win away from a playoff spot..... Clear as mud I know. Good luck to everyone this week. Quote
aTmfan06 Posted April 24, 2016 Report Posted April 24, 2016 I thought Kountze split with Warren Quote

Too many scenarios for the final 3 spots. That being said...... I think Hardin gets 2, Kountze gets 3 and Buna and Warren playing twice in a week to get the 4 spot. Quote
alwayssomethin Posted April 26, 2016 Report Posted April 26, 2016 Gonna be an interesting week!!! Quote

IT'S IN THE BONE Posted April 27, 2016 Report Posted April 27, 2016 Well looks like it finishes with : 1)K-ville 2)Hardin 3)Kountze / Buna ( winner Friday gets three hole) 5) Warren MossHill 1 Quote
Kingofoldschool Posted April 27, 2016 Report Posted April 27, 2016 Deweyville would actually finish 5th, beat warren twice and the worst they can finish is 6-8. IT'S IN THE BONE 1 Quote
bulldog16 Posted April 27, 2016 Report Posted April 27, 2016 Deweyville will actually finish ahead of Warren. Think of what Deweyville could have done if not for the flood before district started. I think they would have been a playoff team. IT'S IN THE BONE 1 Quote

You are correct. Kirbyville will face Van Vleck Buna will face Danbury Kountze and Hardin will get EB or Boling. EB still has a game left to play vs Van Vleck but they sit in 2nd right now. Quote
MossHill Posted April 30, 2016 Report Posted April 30, 2016 Ok, yeah I heard tonight that Hardin was going to play Boling. Quote
rykerx144 Posted April 30, 2016 Report Posted April 30, 2016 Congrats Kirbyville! They outscored the district 148 to 25, it wasn't just pitching. Good luck to all the teams in district going into the playoffs. 23 3a will represent well ! Quote
