Not sure if the kid is still at Channelview but they had a freshman on JV last year that was very VERY impressive(best player at that school.  Couldn't be on varsity due to Channelview's transfer rules....not UIL.  Watch for this kid this year on Varsity.

Silsbee has 9 varsity basketball players playing varsity football.

Silsbee will be taking just 5 varsity players (Grubbs, Maze, Tanton, fresh. McCain, fresh. Adams) to North Shore. The other 4-5 players are JV or 9th players.

I heard Nederland was 3 and 0  Central was 2 and 1  Silsbee was 2 and 1 and haven't got word on Ozen

Ozen went 2-1 lost to North Shore on a buzzer beater ....had 3 seconds remaining t/o was called but the table started the clock as soon as the ref handed the kid the ball, where they do that at....lol

Nederland went 3-0  beat Ridge Point by 40, FB Hightower by 8, and North Shore 2 by 34

Both are very good.  McCain is the best freshman in setx and one of the top ones in the state.
