What we have learned after 3 weeks....

ACC

Florida St and Clemson seem to be the front runners but norther team has separated themselves from the rest of the conference.  Georgia Tech was dominated by ND yesterday, I their one dimensional offense will always hold them back against good defenses.  Miami is still winning, but king hates them.

Clemson had Notre Dame and GTech their next 2 games which should be a big test. If they can avoid dropping a game they should win like guy do every season, then Clemson should be there at the end.

FSU hasn't been real impressive in their wins so far.  Their schedule is pretty easy and imo their season will come down to the Clemson game on Nov 7th.

Big 12

7 of the 10 Big 12 teams are currently unbeaten.  The conference is pretty even this year with only ISU and Kansas as gimme games. I don't see anyone finishing conference unbeaten.

TCU and Baylor were the 2 top dogs coming into the season, but neither has been dominating.  TCU is decimated by injuries and will have a tough time with 6 defensive starters out for the season.

Baylor and OU will play for the Big 12 title imo.

Tech was impressive yesterday, but the next 2 weeks against TCU and Baylor will let us know if they are for real.  Tech, Texas, WV, Okie Lt, and K-State could all play spoilers and knock off one of the top 3 teams.

The Big 12 is the most wide open conference in the country.   A few breaks one way or another and almost any of them could win the conference championship.

Big Ten

This is a 2 horse race once again between Ohio State and Michigan State.  Neither team has another really tough game until they play each other on Nov 21st.

Ohio St was the unanimous #1 team coming into the season and probably have the most talent of anyone in the country.   They haven't been real impressive on the field and have a QB controversy going on.  Michigan State has been a top 5 program in the country for years and no one talks about them.

The Big Ten is the most clear cut conference in the country.  Winner of OSU-MSU wins the East and beats the crap out of whoever comes out of the West in the title game.

Pac 12

UCLA avoided disaster for the Pac 12 yesterday with a comeback win.  If they would have lost that would have given the top 3 teams all a loss out of conference.

Oregon's loss isn't going to hurt them in the long run.  Losing early is the way to go it seems and they will still be there at the end.

The South is pretty wide open with 5 of the 6 teams with a legit shot to win their division.

SEC

Ole Miss with an impressive win last night but Alabama had a lot to do with that.  LSU was very impressive yesterday or maybe Auburn is just that bad.  The West should be between LSU, Ole Miss, and Bama still has a shot with 1 loss.  Georgia looks to be the class of the East, but Mizzou, Florida, and Tennessee are coming.

Bama and Georgia in 2 weeks should be a good test.  A&M will need to improve to be in the discussion for a conference championship.

What saddens me is that Miami has the talent to compete with just about any top team. The coaching staff holds them back.

We will find out how for real they are when they play at Florida State in 3 weeks..

Golden needs to be fired for that ridiculous get-up he had on yesterday, does he normally wear that on the sidelines?

I think Tech is the clear cut 4th as of now. With TCU's defense down to 2nd and 3rd stringers, Tech has a real good shot at home. Baylor and Tech is a throw out the records game.

Overall no team will go undefeated this year.
