John Blutarsky Posted September 30, 2015 Report Posted September 30, 2015 Patriots have just enough athletes in the secondary to slow down the Indan air show and unlike Lee still defend the run. PNG game plans for Duke and Adams and get burned by two other athletes they didn't account for. Duke takes it to the house in the final seconds and GCM pulls off the upset 30 - 28. Bigdog Posted September 30, 2015 Report Posted September 30, 2015 Lol. Yes, Whaley is # 12. I thought you had problems seeing the white on white jerseys like the press box guys did. UIL just passed a rule on jerseys , the white on white or dark on dark won't be allowed starting next year I think. Quote

NDNation Posted September 30, 2015 Report Posted September 30, 2015 We gotta wear the Greys Friday! For good luck! Secret Message to the players: Wear the Grey pants and Purple Helmets!...and GCM has 2 athletes you didn't know about! Quote

united we stand Posted September 30, 2015 Report Posted September 30, 2015 PNG by 14, GCM is a good team n turnovers did hurt them but they are part of the game. the young man duke is impressive. Quote
SFAEAGLES Posted September 30, 2015 Report Posted September 30, 2015 GCM Fan, but my early in the week prediction is PNG 49 - GCM 28. It will be the first time this season that GCM plays a road game.I made this prediction while thinking about the win that got away from us (Central) and was not thinking clearly. Yes, PNG has put up a lot of points, and their defense has played well. But let's put this in perspective. Their wins have come against teams that have a combined record of 2-11 and their lone loss came against a team with a 4-1 record. Yes, PNG is a good team, but ask yourself this. Who have they played? I believe GCM has made all the necessary adjustments and will not repeat the turnover-fest that cost them the game last week. GCM wins this one on a pick six with less then a minute to play in a shootout. GCM 49 - PNG 45 outanup and John Blutarsky 2 Quote
NDNation Posted September 30, 2015 Report Posted September 30, 2015 700 + passing yards for Morse with 1 interception (from Beaumont Ent.). I wouldn't hold my breath waiting on a pick 6, but hey, you could get lucky. BlackShirts5 1 Quote
johnnyarm Posted September 30, 2015 Report Posted September 30, 2015 GCM will not score 40 points. At the most, 21 BlackShirts5 1 Quote

SFAEAGLES Posted September 30, 2015 Report Posted September 30, 2015 GCM will not score 40 points. At the most, 21GCM had 21 points at the half last week against Central's vaulted defense. Could of had another 21 after the half, but decided to turn the ball over instead. John Blutarsky 1 Quote

SFAEAGLES Posted September 30, 2015 Report Posted September 30, 2015 (edited) I really dont think Central is what they were last yearI don't think anyone does, including their fans. But the defense is still pretty good. The offense is where they seemed to have lost a step. Edited September 30, 2015 by SFAEAGLES Quote

This all in only 4 games because they have had a bye week. Quote

GCM 49 - PNG 45When I checked PNG's opponents record it wasn't that bad at that point, but I said if the offense is really good then they should've been able to beat WOS by a couple TDs. Instead they couldn't even get the same 28 Silsbee did while a good 5A team put 42 on WOS? It's interesting that nearly a day later nobody has responded to your comment, if I made the same comment it would be seen as trying to downplay what PNG has accomplished so far. That being said I think GCM is 22-5A's Humble, just with not as good athletes, don't think they win this one. Mr. Buddy Garrity 1 Quote

I guess you finally got around to drumming some more on PNG. I guess we are falling further down your list of schools to run down........ Quote

I guess we are falling further down your list of schools to run down........Not really, after the loss to WOS y'all became a non-factor as far as competing with the better 5A teams. It confirmed my theory that 21-5A would sweep again so there is no use analyzing what PNG does anymore, y'all can get back to trying to win district. Quote
