adminbaberuth Posted February 10, 2007 Report Posted February 10, 2007 Vidor 26 OF 5Not a slight on any of the guys I'm leaving out but how did VJ, Will, Teal, Roby, Jonathan Smith, Rhodes and Kilmer do?
Vpbaseball#9 Posted February 10, 2007 Report Posted February 10, 2007 Everybody did pretty well.... Roby pitched two innings and faced 6 guys and had 5 strikeouts... Smith Pitched two and was impressive..... Once Rhodes found his groove he did good..... Will pitched one and shut em down.....Not sure on hitting wise... Its kinda hard to keep up with it when everybody had like 7 or 8 atbats
Coach 18 Posted February 10, 2007 Report Posted February 10, 2007 Kirbyville -9Buna- 610 1/2 inning affair! Boy it was cold! Both teams played well. Only 2 errors in the contest from both teams combined. Hitting was not real impressive for Buna. Alot of young kids playing for both teams due to Basketball. 3 run bomb in the first for the Jones kid of Kirbyville ended up being the difference. Matlage, Sheppard, and Muckelroy pitched 3 innings a piece and Coleman threw 1 inning for the Cougars.
mustangs_2007 Posted February 10, 2007 Report Posted February 10, 2007 with a strong pitching performance from sophomore cody hodge (3 innings 7 strikeouts) and senior casey tarver, the mustangs got their bats going beating memorial 8-3
Wiggins_Crony Posted February 10, 2007 Report Posted February 10, 2007 Tarkington over Corrigan. 16-2
KFDM COOP Posted February 10, 2007 Author Report Posted February 10, 2007 Congrats Horns! How's the pitching this year?
frosty Posted February 10, 2007 Report Posted February 10, 2007 i think the two main pitchers for tarkington are still playin bball
Wiggins_Crony Posted February 10, 2007 Report Posted February 10, 2007 I would answer your question man but I'm still on probation for certain comments that I made a few weeks ago. ;D. And I'm not sure what I can and can't answer. But I will tell that we suffered a wee bit of a set back with the lost of one of our starters due to graduation, but that's ok.
