NDNation Posted October 5, 2015 Report Posted October 5, 2015 That's good to hear! Glad Lejeune was back. We can't afford to lose any more starters.I read on facebook that the PNG players were throwing the ball around instead of taking a knee. That is not true! People are just spouting stuff now. Quote

BlackShirts5 Posted October 5, 2015 Report Posted October 5, 2015 ok folks the Indians left the field and huddled on the sideline they cleared the field You know the fans of the losing team are always going to find a reason to complain about when their team is getting whooped. eknights88 Posted October 5, 2015 Report Posted October 5, 2015 Players shouldn't get in trouble for taking a knee, as one Indian players who took a knee was. Quote
Former NDNette Posted October 5, 2015 Report Posted October 5, 2015 If he's been told not to do it and does, then yes, he should get in trouble. Quote
eknights88 Posted October 5, 2015 Report Posted October 5, 2015 Why would anyone tell someone not to get on a knee and say a prayer for someone who may be seriously injured? Serious question, because I can't think of any reason SFAEAGLES 1 Quote
Peppermint Patty Posted October 5, 2015 Report Posted October 5, 2015 (edited) Everyone is entitled to do things the way they deem fit. I know this has been discussed on here before about PNG. I can't remember their reasons and the fans seem OK with not sharing them again.I could really care less is they stand, sit, whatever, as long as the players are acting in a respectable manner, which IMO they were.As a fan we don't "take a knee". The coaches do not "take a knee". We both sit or stand quietly. We might pray if that's our inclination. We should, however, not shout down the other teams from across the field for not doing what we do.That seems to be a contradiction. From what I've heard the young man is doing just fine. Hopefully he will be ready for Friday night. Edited October 5, 2015 by GCMPats2 PNG1977, ndn mom, NDNation and 2 others 5 Quote
Coach85 Posted October 5, 2015 Report Posted October 5, 2015 It's good to hear it was nothing serious. Always scary when it involves the neck. Hope he is fully recovered and will be back soon. Still praying for him though. Quote
