ST413 Posted October 7, 2015 Report Posted October 7, 2015 Big Sandy would be my top pick. I don't know enough about some of the other teams in this 5a region but Central has a strong nucleus coming back. So they might be a strong puck as well. As for my Tigers, high expectations but some good teams out there. If we can hit some of those outside shots this year, I say we make it. As for Kountze, I am not sure, unless they have more than the six or seven players they had last year it will be another tough road. BADSANTA 1 Quote

aTmfan06 Posted October 7, 2015 Report Posted October 7, 2015 IMO Kountze and Silsbee should be #1... But as far as return to state.. Central,Silsbee, and Kountze should be there. As far as Kountze making it back they will be fine, plus the region is down this year I think. Ozen.. Overrated I think. TxHoops 1 Quote
no-look Posted October 7, 2015 Report Posted October 7, 2015 Did Wheatley have some players hurt last year. They didn't fair so well in district play. I see where they are ranked #10. Quote
TxHoops Posted October 7, 2015 Report Posted October 7, 2015 Central, Silsbee, Kountze, Big SandyNailed it. Quote

I would list them and Bridgeport as the two biggest favorites to win state. Quote

Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted October 7, 2015 Report Posted October 7, 2015 I cant decide between Central or Ozen cause they probably gonna play 10 times versus each other this season, too much parity. Quote
TxHoops Posted October 8, 2015 Report Posted October 8, 2015 I cant decide between Central or Ozen cause they probably gonna play 10 times versus each other this season, too much parity. Is Little Dove back? I assume so with all this talk of parity Quote
Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted October 8, 2015 Report Posted October 8, 2015 Is Little Dove back? I assume so with all this talk of parity lol, I just think Ozen may be better than Central by seasons end, but in the playoffs anything can happen. Quote
TxHoops Posted October 8, 2015 Report Posted October 8, 2015 lol, I just think Ozen may be better than Central by seasons end, but in the playoffs anything can happen. I really think by season's end, I would take the preseason #2 in 4A over the preseason #2 in 5A. I think the preseason #24 in 4A would give the preseason #2 in 5A a run for their money. Hoping we can see that matchup in the Gamble. Mr. Buddy Garrity 1 Quote

whsalum Posted October 8, 2015 Report Posted October 8, 2015 The # 24 in 4A may have a decent club this year. Looks like they have most of the power house clubs scheduled, plus the Gamble classic. Let's get this thing tipped off. Quote

aTmfan06 Posted October 8, 2015 Report Posted October 8, 2015 Buna lost alot... Big Sandy and Kountze prolly got the best shot. Weaker region for Kountze this season and Big Sandy... well they are Big Sandy. BMTSoulja1 1 Quote
whsalum Posted October 8, 2015 Report Posted October 8, 2015 I know the Lions have Arnold back which makes them a good pick. Didn't they lose one to graduation and one that moved ?If so they may not be a state power, they weren't real deep last year and the underclass squads were not very strong. Look for EC to be very much improved , even with a late start. Quote
