because we needed another qb on the roster. People seem to fail to realize there aren't any legit starting qbs sitting around waiting for calls when someone gets hurt.

Cassel will start the next game, which is against the giants.  He will have an extra week, bye next week,  to get caught up on the playbook.  Weeden does not give the COWBOYS a chance to win.  Maybe Cassel will be better.  Goes to show that the Romo haters have no clue.  This team is a Super Bowl contender with a healthy Romo.  Maybe Cassel can, at least, give them a chance.

just like last week when he completely abandoned the run game in the 2nd half after a huge 1st.  I know the other team makes adjustments, but.....

What happened to the defense in the 2nd half? Should have blitzed Brady. The only pass play the Pats run is with a pick somewhere, hell, even downfield. They only flag it a couple times. Then, on top of that, our defense could not tackle.

You couldn't be more wrong!!! If you really follow this team you would see and understand how much Coach Garrett means to this team.  He is the COWBOYS leader.  The coaches and players believe in him.  They feed off of his leadership!!!

He doesn't have enough fire in his gut for me. Terrible clock manager and decision maker. Could be why he simply wears a headset, just to hear what is going down.

You are right.  Parcells and Johnson, who were by far better coaches, left because they were not yes men.
