WOSMustangs09 Posted March 23, 2006 Report Posted March 23, 2006 Kendal Veitch --> WOS Taylor Bonnin --> WOS Cody Hodge --> WOS Anthony Cessac --> BC
WOSMustangs09 Posted March 23, 2006 Report Posted March 23, 2006 im geussin that no1 else thinks any freshmen deserve any credit for their hard efforts
mustangs_2007 Posted March 23, 2006 Report Posted March 23, 2006 i want to name zach peevey from orangefield hes a good pitcher and been playing i think every game
hjspanky07 Posted March 24, 2006 Report Posted March 24, 2006 logan ferguson-hj even thow he is on the sophomore team he is hitting .647 and has 4-1 pitching record, 2 of the wins are against wos jv and hf jv. the only loss is against bc jv. he could possibly be pitching on varsity this year. he throws 76-78 consistently and has good control and great curveball and change-up.
Big Stik Posted March 24, 2006 Report Posted March 24, 2006 Logan Fergerson-HJ, Josh Skinner-Silsbee, Chase Kelly-Silsbee, Eric Matthews-BC and Nick Walters-Silsbee all played together this past summer and they all did a excellent job. You could not have asked for a better group of players, They all gave 110% every game and the the best part was that they played with a lot of pride and respect for the game of Baseball.
Cat22 Posted March 24, 2006 Report Posted March 24, 2006 Zach Peevy has been hitting in the two spot. Not bad for a Freshman. He will be good for us for the next few years.
Cat22 Posted March 24, 2006 Report Posted March 24, 2006 Right Field this year, he will probably move to Center next year.
Cat22 Posted March 24, 2006 Report Posted March 24, 2006 He also may be our starting tailback next year in football. He is a good overall athlete.
WOSMustangs09 Posted March 24, 2006 Report Posted March 24, 2006 i heard that peevey was good at baseball but i never heard that he played b4 but now i can tell that he has great potential after watchin him pitch
hurricanesbaseballfan20 Posted March 26, 2006 Author Report Posted March 26, 2006 March 24, Logan Ferguson-HJ went 3-4 against Anthony Cessac with a Triple, 2 singles 4rbi's...and a run scored... Also he looked solid on the hill throwing 4innings with 2 earned runs...not HJ's best outing though got out of control in the later innings to give Hj their 3 loss (first sophmore loss...all others to jv teams.)
hurricanesbaseballfan20 Posted March 26, 2006 Author Report Posted March 26, 2006 OMG check this guy out......probly the best player ive seen since Babe Ruth this kid has it all he can run, throw,HIT and play a darn good 3rd base his name.... NICK WALTERS of silsbee JV probly one of the best of the 09's batting .675 was dropped from varsity (only had 1 at bat)
adminbaberuth Posted March 26, 2006 Report Posted March 26, 2006 Taylor Eaves of Hamshire-Fannett starts at 2nd base as a Freshman. Zach Peevy of Orangefield can play and will be a good one.
SETXscout411 Posted March 26, 2006 Report Posted March 26, 2006 Man I attended the HJ-BC game and was not that impressed with either team...Ferguson did look good...So did Cessac...Both teams had thier share of high points in the game...they both also had thier share of errors...overall not a bad game untill the HJ let 7 pass balls go by all resulting in BC runs...BC clearly came ready to play winning 11-6 in 7 innings... note(this 6:00 game was game 2 of hj's double header that day previously beating silsbee at 4:00pm)
mustangs_2007 Posted March 27, 2006 Report Posted March 27, 2006 in the jasper tournament freshman cody hodge (WOS) gave up 1 run on like 3 hits in 2 or 3 innings against lcm and thats good for a freshman he is on jv pitchin for them now
WOSMustangs09 Posted March 27, 2006 Report Posted March 27, 2006 taylor bonnin was starting third base for wos varsity and is now on jv doing very well playing second base
cardkeeper Posted April 12, 2006 Report Posted April 12, 2006 I want to say the freshman team at BC showed great team effort and they should be very proud . Congratulations on the Cardinal Win last night 16-8 in 7 innings , over Ned. Bulldogs .
