Olddog Posted October 22, 2015 Report Posted October 22, 2015 Yes we can. Have you seen the Tyler kid from Ozen? That kid can go. He had me nervous every time be touched the ball. If you're a good RB, don't matter if it a spread, slot T, or wishbone... You have to have a game plan to stop them. We were gashed by Krautz really good and didn't want a repeat of that vs Ozen. With that said, I think we'll be ready for Vidor's running attack...I got Central in a close one , maybe another cardiac contest . Vidor has several good backs but they also have their own nervous every touch guy . This whole district this year is trying to keep fans off the bleachers ! Hope it's injury free for everyone . Hagar Posted October 22, 2015 Report Posted October 22, 2015 Most of the time at the high school, this week is at the high school. I heard Evadale plays at 3:30 vs Vidor B. Maybe things will work out and we'll see ya. Strange sitting on visitor side lol. Quote
baddog Posted October 22, 2015 Report Posted October 22, 2015 ....kinda like Ozen did? The district's leading rusher was only able to muster 84 yards on Central....It's just my opinion. Just because someone disagrees does not make them right. It's also why we play the games. Quote

It's also why we play the games.I know, and respect all opinions. And I know why you say what you say... Power running offenses (Your Vidor's and Nederland's) would give us more of a problem vs. Quick strike home run hitting running attacks (PA Memorial's, Ozen's) ... Quote

A power running game that keeps the chains moving will wear out a defense, especially if the ensuing opponent's drive goes three and out. Quick strike offenses also wear out their own team's defense. Alpha Wolf Posted October 22, 2015 Report Posted October 22, 2015 I really don't think Central is quick strike this year... Quote

AthleticSupporter - Jock Posted October 22, 2015 Report Posted October 22, 2015 they lost by 2 TDs last year Oh OK. But that was on a fast track at the Butch, right? If Vidor gets even a few showers on their field, this game will be a nail-biter. Quote

AthleticSupporter - Jock Posted October 23, 2015 Report Posted October 23, 2015 Looks like it will be a sloppy field/game tonight...That storm must have passed through while I was sleeping last night. I've heard reports of an inch of standing water on Vidor's field. Who would have guessed that they would have had that much rain in one night. ;-) Quote
BMTSoulja1 Posted October 23, 2015 Author Report Posted October 23, 2015 The sprinklers > the storm Quote
Bigdog Posted October 23, 2015 Report Posted October 23, 2015 There is a monster hurricane about to hit Mexico and we will probably get some rain from it , although over the weekend. Sounds like Vidor's field crew has been talking to Nederland's crew. Mr. Buddy Garrity 1 Quote

LaneKiffinChipKelly Foreman will find a way to be too cute with Vidor........Come on SFA85, Foreman will use the same philosophy offensively as last week which will give the Jags the W. And I have no worries defensively. II'll be doing updates so I'll keep you posted... Edited October 23, 2015 by Big Ford Quote
