I agree but Manziel has been involved in several off the field issues and has been given chance after chance after chance after chance. He is a drunk and can't seem to get it togrther. After being sent to rehab, you still can't put the bottle down and you hit your girlfriend. Don't see him coming back from this. Greg Hardy is a 2x Pro Bowl and that to knowledge was a 1st time offender. I don't think either should be in the NFL.

She doesn't want to press charges but that does not matter in domestic violence cases. We'll see how it goes down.

They played her 911 call on the radio and she said he hit her multiple times. She also had bruises on her arm. Not a good look.

hmmm very interesting!! So much for him being a drunk, maybe she is but another story for another day (ive dug up some things on her). Also I can see getting bruised up on the arm if someone is being a dumbarse and someone grabs them to keep them from being more of a dumbarse per the account in the article, will be interesting what else the investigation turns up. Lesson to be learned: keep your relationship issues private and not public.

I will wait and see how this one plays out.  Regardless, it does not appear John John will not be long for this league.  The Browns have not dealt him because no one wants him.  To be a tiny Tim QB in the NFL, you have to do just about everything right.  Guys like Drew Brees, Flutie, etc. work/worked twice as hard to make up for lack of size.  I think part of it is probably upbringing (there is plenty of literature out there on the Manziel family), and part of it is just immaturity.  He needed to grow up fast to have a shot at a career.  That window is almost closed IMO.

I agree.  He is only 22 years old, and not ready to grow up and be a pro.  He needed to work hard to make it, but he is too much of a distraction, and I can't see his NFL career lasting much longer.

Watching that video, that girl is crazy. "cray-cray". We have all had that friend with the crazy girlfriend that almost ruined their life....This is no different. 

He can have just about any girl he wants, he needs to wake up and realize that.......

Some people have overbearing personalities to cover their inner insecurities. It causes them to be attracted to certain types of women, especially those that will take them down. Is this the case here? Who knows? Maybe she is just good in bed.

I've never dated a "drunk, stupid" girl.

If I was a recovering substance abuser,  I would stay away from those types.

I did......I've dated drunk, stupid and crazy girls.....

It was fun until I realized it was not just about looks and "fun time"

I will say this, the crazier they were the better the fun times were......

My prediction is he will be fine, just needs to grow up sooner than most his age
