Bigdog Posted October 24, 2015 Report Posted October 24, 2015 Nice win Dogs! Radio announcers said Ned clinched a play-off spot, Congrats BIG NED!!Correct. They can clinch at least a share of the DC next week if they beat GCM. Since Central won tonight and it looks like PNG will as well. Vidor,GCM and Ozen are most likely out of the playoffs. tvc184 Posted October 24, 2015 Report Posted October 24, 2015 A Nederland win and a loss by either Vidor or Lumberton tonight locks up the Nederland playoff spot. That happened with the Nederland win and Vidor loss. Now 4 teams have at least 3 losses. The most that Nederland can have Is 2 losses at 5-2 if they lost both remaining games. That means that Nederland has a better record than at least 4 teams and that locks it up the playoffs. Quote

L-Train11 Posted October 24, 2015 Report Posted October 24, 2015 I don't think Lumberton has clinced, they still have Vidor aand Nederlandcorrect. With a win next week we will clinch. Quote
Bigdog Posted October 24, 2015 Report Posted October 24, 2015 I don't think Lumberton has clinced, they still have Vidor aand Nederlandcorrect. With a win next week we will clinch. Lumberton (3-2) has Vidor and Ned left, Vidor (2-3) has Lumberton and PNG. If Lumberton wins against Vidor they clinch. as they would have a 2 game lead with one to play.Vidor has an outside chance if they win next week and either beat PNG or both Vidor and Lumberton lose the last game as they would have the heads up tie breaker. I am sure there are other senarios. Quote
Brubaker Posted October 24, 2015 Report Posted October 24, 2015 Defensively, Nederland gave up 155 yards, holding Irving to -14 yards rushing. Coming in, he had over 2000 yards of total offense. That is 3 straight weeks of very good defensive play. We also got to see a bit of a coming out party for the sophomore Nguyen, that kid is explosive. outanup 1 Quote
