WOS vs HJ

Last game of district for the Mustangs. They have a bye week before the playoffs begin. This one is played at Hooks stadium. How is this going to play out for the Stangs? I think 36-10.

42-7, Mustangs.  I'm still mad about the hero call the ref tried to make last year on that fake touched punt that gifted the stangs a late first half TD.  it MIGHT would've MAYBE just POSSIBLY could've been a different game   That being said, HJ is no match for the Stangs this year.  They've pulled it together a little of late, and have lost several really close games, but WOS is WAAAAAAAY better than them this year.  It won't be competitive.

WOS is looking good.  Only 2 opponents we've played so far currently have losing records.

WOS also wins their 33rd consecutive district game breaking the tie with the 32 game streak we had from 2003-2008.  The longest streak though was 37 from 1986-1992 although it's less than that if you factor in the forfeited games from 1992.

 

I just hope we don't get complacent given we pretty much have an automatic 2nd round spot waiting for us 4 weeks from now against LaGrange or Wharton.

Hj will not score and that will put wos only giving up 3 points in district.. pretty dang good for a bunch a youngsters

Found a few more stats,last time we were shutout was 04,been shutout 9 times in history,and the worst lost I seen was 41-0 in 96 to jasper,and opponents have been shutout 96 times by wos not including this year,by my calculations we are looking for shutout 100,my eyes hurt I may be off a few,somebody else may know for sure

1980's - 29 shutouts

1990's - 22 shutouts

2000's - 22 shutouts

2010's - 20 shutouts through the H-F win last week

I count 98 total according to my records...
