He's a WOS fan though. He probably ranked Ned over Dayton and New Caney.

Got a sense of humor today grad :).

In all reality I was really looking at it from the positive side when I posted NC stayed at 6. To me it meant we played well enough against #1 in poll not to drop.

In fact, the very reason that NC stayed at #6 is directly due to the fact they took the #1 team in the poll to OT, which caused many posters (including me) to not drop the Eagle out of where we had them last week.  Even those that did drop them did not drop them very far or at the very least dropped West Brook more.

Same scenario 2104 Dayt lost to Crosby by 6 in OT & Dayt dropped cpl spots, bygones or just that,I'm past that now, ranking teams is not as easy/simple till you've done them, what's difficult is having not seen games where extra scoring was not gonna effect a loss=seems lopsided on paper when the games are sometimes closer than a score may indicate.Carry on voters=doing a great job

And what lack of logic is that?

use Obama name when you dont like something. Sorta like I dont like sitting in the upper deck of The Butch, its Obama fault they built it too high up for my liking. ;)

Anyway, the rankings look like they're suppose to be IMO.

I was serious when I said that's like moving up two spots too. We're judged against teams other voters see every week and in some cases have an emotional attachment to. New Caney has two district losses already, that's hard to rank against a team that's won six straight if you don't see the quality of teams they lost to or beat. Crosby actually picked up a first place for in the AP poll after going to OT with New Caney.

I told cougar14.2 Nederland was getting better. All we had to do was wait for the opinion poll to see. Channelview beats Dayton, Dayton beats Ned, and Ned gets ranked higher than both of them.  It's only right.

With this logic in mind, the pollsters should look at this scenario next week.  Crosby beat Dayton beat Ned beat PNG.  You could argue it should be PNG, Ned, Dayton, then Crosby.  At least that would be a consistent train of thought.
