PhatMack19 Posted November 10, 2015 Report Posted November 10, 2015 @KOMUnews: BREAKING: MU Chancellor R. Bowen Loftin announced resignation, effective end of this year. Looks like a cleaning of house has started. Bowtie was the chancellor at A&M during the transition to the SEC. He was well liked by most on campus at A&M. Quote
TxHoops Posted November 10, 2015 Report Posted November 10, 2015 Maybe it's the liberal in me but I never have a problem with people making a peaceful stand in something they believe in. I don't know all the particulars with Loftin but there appear to be some serious issues at MU. Sounds to me that he didn't get out in front of it like he probably should have and it cost him his job. But as far as the kids go, they would have lost some games they wouldn't get back. And they were willing to do it based on what they believe in. Good for them. As I heard on one of the shows on this, the Clippers' players could have taken such a stand. Tyler Dixson, Mr. Buddy Garrity and UTfanatic 3 Quote

Eazy Posted November 12, 2015 Report Posted November 12, 2015 Of course it's a lie. I could say 2+ 2 = 5, get a few folks to believe it, and go start a riot. The President is a total woos. He should step down. Chaos coming to a theater near you. Quote
PhatMack19 Posted November 13, 2015 Report Posted November 13, 2015 The them for Mizzou's game on Saturday is whiteout. Nike needs to be held responsible for this! Racism will not be tolerated. Jordan's net worth should drop This is the hidden content, please Sign In or Sign Up Quote

team first Posted November 13, 2015 Report Posted November 13, 2015 And Mizzou has actually had a lot of success since joining the SEC. yea about equal to their last 5-6 years in the big 12 Quote
Peppermint Patty Posted November 13, 2015 Report Posted November 13, 2015 yea about equal to their last 5-6 years in the big 12 Maybe so:56-24 (9 wins per year)Compared to the other new SEC school:42-35 (7 wins per year)The Big XII really misses Mizzou. Mr. Buddy Garrity 1 Quote
TxHoops Posted November 13, 2015 Report Posted November 13, 2015 yea about equal to their last 5-6 years in the big 12 Exactly. Their response has been - what's the big deal?On the other hand, as GCMPats points out, the Aggies have found it much easier to compete... Quote

Now that's is pretty preposterous You are the one that said it first, sport. Mizzou has performed about equally in the SEC as they did in the Big 12. Sorry we agreed with you! Quote
Peppermint Patty Posted November 13, 2015 Report Posted November 13, 2015 The SEC East and SEC West are pretty much the same.......They all chant SEC, SEC,SEC. So, yes. Mr. Buddy Garrity 1 Quote
TxHoops Posted November 13, 2015 Report Posted November 13, 2015 I I want everyone to know I agree with teamfirst's point. Mizzou's success in the SEC East has been about the same as their last 5-6 years in the Big 12 North. I would add that A&M has found more success in the SEC West than they did in the Big 12 South over that time period. Quote
team first Posted November 13, 2015 Report Posted November 13, 2015 Not hard to imagine that, when u play in the sec , the recruits come. See the nfl where the drafts come from and look at the UNIVERSITY of TEXAS I mean they should have all the recruits rt? Aren't they the big brother. Quote

The last list I saw, we have 32 players in the NFL, little brother had 23. That was including this year's additions. baddog and Mr. Buddy Garrity 2 Quote
