In my opinion it takes a few years to see what a coach is really doing with a program. Especially if they're following a legend.

Yeah, he's the guy that actually won the first title. I just mentioned Morris because he went 32-0 gained the most notoriety while he was there before the big jump to Tulsa. Not long before that they were 1-19 in a two year span though. Even from Crosby's standpoint it was easier for Riordan to take over program that had already been to the playoffs 7 straight years and just needed to win a few more games vs trying to build one from the ground.
