adminbaberuth Posted March 24, 2006 Report Posted March 24, 2006 We have many pitchers that can play at the next level as a few have already signed. Who's got the tools to use the glove and bat?
MIF04 Posted March 24, 2006 Report Posted March 24, 2006 I guess the first question is what do you mean by the 'next level'? D1? Any college? Juco?
uniden Posted March 24, 2006 Report Posted March 24, 2006 Derrick Coleman, Wes Schneider, and Chris Laird just to name 3.
bear Posted March 24, 2006 Report Posted March 24, 2006 I guess the first question is what do you mean by the 'next level'? D1? Any college? Juco? MIF04 is correct, there are many different levels of "the next level". None of our kids are just pitchers, but five LCM players have secured scholarships to play baseball in college. One other has signed a football scholarship and will likely play baseball there as well. We will have a total of eight signed by year's end.
swarmn d Posted March 24, 2006 Report Posted March 24, 2006 Then there should be no excuses for not winning then!
midcountymadness Posted March 24, 2006 Report Posted March 24, 2006 Then there should be no excuses for not winning then! Signing scholarships does not necessarily mean their players are better than their opponents. It might mean nothing more than their coach has spent a ton of hours on the phone finding schools that need kids that fit their description.
bearbacker09 Posted March 24, 2006 Report Posted March 24, 2006 swarmn'd 300 wins in 12 seasons and well over 40 playoff wins. Looks like we don't need an excuse for anything very often. Go ahead and post your midcounty team's win totals on here for the past decade.

I don't see that as a dig on LCM's program, just kudo's to Coach Griff for the work today and the past for his kids getting a shot at the next level. Really all a kid wants after high school is a jersey, the rest will come.
