I've posted on hear with we played Nederland, Dayton and Crosby during the regular season. I enjoyed those Nederland / Dayton match ups. Not so much the Crosby games. Last years Angleton / Dayton playoff game was crazy. Mr. Buddy Garrity 1 Quote

CS. Posted November 17, 2015 Report Posted November 17, 2015 All the bickering over uniforms and I missed this. Winner Winner Chicken Dinner!Indians scalp in the grays! Not to derail the thread about uniforms. i don't mind switching things up. I just wish the gray pants, matched the gray helmets. The gray pants look like crap. I'd rather see a black trim or silver. I'd also like to see the zig zags make a comeback. And that helmet posted on the page before is PERFECT. Quote

WCAT Posted November 17, 2015 Report Posted November 17, 2015 Angleton is not as powerful as recent years mainly because it's a very young team all around and loosing 3 starters after week 1. The record isn't impressive but they have battled with multiple top teams in the Houston area. Defense is no rollover and been battle tested. I think this is going to be a close game. 24 to 21 angleton..... Quote
Justafan72 Posted November 18, 2015 Report Posted November 18, 2015 Angleton started a freshman at QB and FS against Crosby and it showed.Won't be able to contain the Indians passing attack.Roster loaded with underclassmen so the future looks bright for the Wildcats.PNG gets by 33 - 17. Quote

Northern Lights Posted November 18, 2015 Report Posted November 18, 2015 Just wondering what the consensus is. Quote
PURPLE 4EVER Posted November 18, 2015 Report Posted November 18, 2015 Angleton's defensive line was among the best GRHS played all year. The secondary for Angleton was the weak link. They were able to maintain two long drives that gobbled up a lot of the game. PN-G will have to score on each possession, especially if they can't stop the run game. Gotta feeling this game is within a TD. Going with PN-G scoring late to win it. Quote
johnnyarm Posted November 18, 2015 Report Posted November 18, 2015 Indians are the underdog by 1 in pigskin prep. Indians need to come out with fire and prove they belong Quote

WCAT Posted November 18, 2015 Report Posted November 18, 2015 Should be another exciting game hopefully. Quote
Northern Lights Posted November 18, 2015 Report Posted November 18, 2015 Not nearly the same Angleton team that played against Crosby. Just to be fair Crosby was without their two top backs after the first series #24 and #21 and was missing a starting safety #8 as well. Mr. Buddy Garrity 1 Quote
Hagar Posted November 18, 2015 Report Posted November 18, 2015 I'll throw my wag in, PNG wins 35-28. Go Indians! Quote
Cougar14.2 Posted November 18, 2015 Report Posted November 18, 2015 Just to be fair Crosby was without their two top backs after the first series #24 and #21 and was missing a starting safety #8 as well.Exacly, Grace had 7 carries for 99 yards when he went down early in the second quarter. There was a whole cloud that hit the stadium, I for one thought our title chances were laying on the ground with him. The injury thing is what it is. I could understand the argument if it wasn't 38-15 down in Brazoria county last year. Mr. Buddy Garrity 1 Quote

Cougtalk Posted November 18, 2015 Report Posted November 18, 2015 (edited) I going to say this and there is a big BUT at the end. IF the NDN defense can win at the point of attack they will make Angleton look helpless. If Angleton can win at the point of attack this will be a low scoring dog fight. BUT i have not seen the NDN's play and the one time i saw Angleton play they did not look very good, note Crosby dominated the line of scrimmage. Edited November 18, 2015 by Cougtalk Quote
