difference is Kountze just re loads. Watch and see. Early on they might struggle this year but they will be fine

I think you said Kountze would be fine in football, too. How'd that work out for you?

I believe Buna lost their entire starting 5. Kountze will compete with EC for the district if Arnold doesn't play, if he does they are the favorite.

Buna returns one starte. Kobe Elder as well as the 6th man Remington Connell. They will be better next year than this year.

The the books had #2 for 4 fouls when he only had 3. He had to sit whole 3rd quarter because of that. I agree different game. Buna still had a chance to put it away with 5 minutes left up by 7. Sloppy play and great shots hit by Vidor.

We had two kids in foul trouble as well, #4 and #11 so the foul trouble thing ain't working with me. Second half started out kinda lopsided with us at seven fouls in the 3rd period to Buna's 1. BTW, we lost Bret Hall and his brother who were both outstanding players for Vidor from last year's team. Buna had an eight point lead at half and the Pirates came back from as much as 10 with the foul deficit to win by nine. Sounds a little like conditioning and bench depth IMO.

Buna was without its best player for 14 straight minutes. Yes that played a huge factor. No one is sayin Vidor didn't deserve the win. They took the game from Buna behind good defense and excellent shooting in the 4th.

How did his coaching go against Bridge City in that scrimmage? Heard little ole BC won by double digits.

you're comparing football which Kountze has had little to no success to basketball which history explains itself for Kountze. Cmon guy

The Robandanna guy must have just come out of the woods.  Vidor only lost one Hall from last years team, not 2.  He is typical fair weather fan, waving the flag around when Vidor wins, first one out the door when Vidor loses.
