no-look Posted November 24, 2015 Report Posted November 24, 2015 No but they will beat Diboll by 30 next timeOuch!!!! Quote
Silsbee92 Posted November 24, 2015 Report Posted November 24, 2015 There still may be some cause for concern. How did PN-G score more than 30 points? Silsbee may have some defensive problems early on in the season.Grubbs really the only one attacking the rim defensively.  No defensive rebounding relates to the points they scored. Take away the free throws made, 10 I believe and it's clear that there weren't any defense issues with an all offensive five on the floor. If Dontre, Barnes and Mackey were there....Well. JMO Quote

pallacanestro Posted November 24, 2015 Report Posted November 24, 2015 Great game tigers.PNG only had 6 players. Looks like they didnt have full roster yet....I missed seeing their usual guy (think his name is John) running the point. Great kid.  He can move the ball and shoot well. He was there but looked to be nursing an injury. they need him. what's the point of beating them that badly then? I don't get it. Quote
ST413 Posted November 24, 2015 Report Posted November 24, 2015 No point the thing was the Tigers only had 7 layers not any subs to put in. Quote
BADSANTA Posted November 24, 2015 Report Posted November 24, 2015 The scary thing is Diboll really has no clue what Silsbee was missing. The game was the 1st of the year and this unit has never played together. This team could be scary good of the just keep working hard in practice. Quote

TxHoops Posted November 24, 2015 Report Posted November 24, 2015 The rebounding is the main thing that will improve for Silsbee with the football guys.  From a scoring perspective, what they have now is just as good as what they will add.  With a lot of improvement and upside with the young guns.  The fact that they are still playing football will benefit them in the long run because the freshmen are getting a lot of minutes they wouldn't be getting if all the kids were in uniform.  BUT, as pointed out above, Barnes, Mackey, and Mike J will help immensely on the glass.  And obviously, that is a huge part of success on the hardwoods. Tyler Dixson 1 Quote
PrettyBoi10 Posted November 24, 2015 Report Posted November 24, 2015 (edited) The Diboll basketball team is the football team is the baseball team.  They Don't have the luxury to commit to one sport as the that Silsbee basketball team that showed up Friday.  This team has that potential.  This year marks 10 years since Dibolls last state tourney appearance, which the current coach led. You Do know no matter what y'all was still gonna lose that game right YALL CANT COMPETE WITH US IN BASKETBALL NOR FOOTBALL Edited November 24, 2015 by PrettyBoi10 Quote
aTmfan06 Posted November 24, 2015 Report Posted November 24, 2015 Trust me.. Diboll does not want any part of a Silsbee team at full strength. BADSANTA 1 Quote
