I have attached the nickname "Silsbee Lite" to the current Silsbee varsity team because they are about 7-8 varsity players "light" due to football.

Never heard of it referred to as that.  Plenty of team's that have played wirh a few football boys not playing.  Never been referred to as Lite.  Anyway, congrats Tigers.

I think the point is the amount. A few, maybe not necessary. 8 players missing with 3 of them starters, I will call them "Lite".

Dec.1 could be an epic game for the Tigers if they pull that off without the fb players then that would be huge for the program. Thats a good win today for Silsbee against a 6a team ....SETX has so much talent its crazy, college coaches are missing out if they dont start coming regularly.

I think it's good to have an identity for any team.  Silsbee should roll with this name.
