robanadana Posted December 2, 2015 Report Posted December 2, 2015 (edited) LCM 70, Vidor 68 in OT. OK, so now I'm gonna go off. The final score of this game was Vidor 61, LCM 58 in regular time. The scorekeeper either due to incompetence or other reasons had the score jacked up numerous times and the officials had to correct. It may not mean anything to anyone else but it means something to me. It did not end 61 - 61 because that was not the correct score. Just saying. Yeah, I'm hot. I hate that gym with a passion and would never play them again. And no, I haven't been in that cabinet (yet). Edited December 2, 2015 by robanadana TxHoops and Mr. Buddy Garrity 2 Quote
RunninRebels Posted December 2, 2015 Report Posted December 2, 2015 So you are saying that LCM "cheated" Vidor out of points? Usually that goes by the official book and each team keeps their own book to make sure everything is correct. Surely Coach Williams did not allow that to happen? Quote
whsalum Posted December 3, 2015 Report Posted December 3, 2015 I have seen several issues over the years with official books and score keepers. Unfortunately if they are not corrected immediately the argument falls on deaf ears. I have seen 2 occasions already this year but it wasn't game affecting. Quote

I have seen it happen multiple times too with someone not paying attention or who has no business trying to keep an official book. And you are just as correct in that if it doesn't get fixed immediately and without much confusion, too often the attitude among the officials is - let's just move on. Quote
