This is a no brainer. WRS candidate Paul Trammel, EC.  :) :) :)

"Trammell had 119 tackles, two sacks, forced three fumbles and had three fumble recoveries.

"I think I accomplished my goals this season," said Trammell, who began playing football at age 8. "I gave 100 percent and played with pride each game. What I will remember the most about this season is going undefeated in district play."

Trammell was selected defensive most valuable player in District 24-2A.

"It's a great honor to come from a small school and be recognized this way," Trammell said. "I heard about this award three years ago when I moved to Winnie and to be selected is a great honor."

I HAVE TO AGREE TRAMMELL IS GOOD, BUT HE ISNT THE ONLY LB IN SOUTHEAST TX. DEVON WISE FROM KOUNTZE WILL BE A BIG PART OF THE LIONS D. HE HAD 87 TKLS,3.5 SACKS,FORCED 2 FUMBLES AND IS A GREAT SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER. SO LOOK OUT FOR HIM.

Ktown, I didn't mean to imply Trammel is the only one, by any means. There are quality LB's (and all others, too) on EVERY team in the district. However, I feel he is currently the #1 LB. I would say that regardless whatever team he was on. I think the stats back it up.
