Guest ECBucFan Posted February 13, 2007 Report Posted February 13, 2007 This is a no brainer. WRS candidate Paul Trammel, EC. :) "Trammell had 119 tackles, two sacks, forced three fumbles and had three fumble recoveries."I think I accomplished my goals this season," said Trammell, who began playing football at age 8. "I gave 100 percent and played with pride each game. What I will remember the most about this season is going undefeated in district play."Trammell was selected defensive most valuable player in District 24-2A."It's a great honor to come from a small school and be recognized this way," Trammell said. "I heard about this award three years ago when I moved to Winnie and to be selected is a great honor."
K-TOWNLB Posted February 14, 2007 Report Posted February 14, 2007 I HAVE TO AGREE TRAMMELL IS GOOD, BUT HE ISNT THE ONLY LB IN SOUTHEAST TX. DEVON WISE FROM KOUNTZE WILL BE A BIG PART OF THE LIONS D. HE HAD 87 TKLS,3.5 SACKS,FORCED 2 FUMBLES AND IS A GREAT SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER. SO LOOK OUT FOR HIM.
Guest ECBucFan Posted February 14, 2007 Report Posted February 14, 2007 Ktown, I didn't mean to imply Trammel is the only one, by any means. There are quality LB's (and all others, too) on EVERY team in the district. However, I feel he is currently the #1 LB. I would say that regardless whatever team he was on. I think the stats back it up.
OO7 Posted February 15, 2007 Report Posted February 15, 2007 What number is devin wise?yeah, k-townlb what's your number?
K-TOWNLB Posted March 8, 2007 Report Posted March 8, 2007 DEVON WISE IS #10 AND HES ONLY A SOPH. SO LOOK OUT 4 HIM.
whsalum Posted March 16, 2007 Report Posted March 16, 2007 Travis McBee and Brody Parker from Warren. Both are solid.Parker played well last year(even with a seperated shoulder he suffered on the 1st day of practice).McBee is a returning all district backer
Guest Yard Bird Posted March 16, 2007 Report Posted March 16, 2007 J.F. Stelly from Hardin. Had 100+ tackles last year as a sophmore.
