Silsbee at Lufkin

the schedule pinned up top lists this game as 12-15 which is Tuesday,  last night I was told it is Monday.  I can't get to a Silsbee ISD schedule online but Lufkin's schedule says Monday as well.

No I didn't play but I did keep that ye ol score book on 94/95 , 95/96,  96/97,  97/98. Silsbee did win it 3 out 4 years. MVP in 94 Damien Bush, 96 Lewis Airline, 97 Thad Holden.

Silsbee done put triple digits  25+ on the last week's #25  - 5A"  Harlingen South in the South San Tournament . AND THAT WAS SILSBEE LITE.

Lufkin will give Silsbee a very competive game. They are better than they were last year.  A good group of kids and well coached. Should be a good entertaining game. Gonna try and make it.

F.B. Austin is a very good solid team Silsbee will face tomorrow as well at 1:30.. Sigler has got Silsbee playing some very good tournaments this year . I look for this to be a very good tournament for Silsbee.  Hopefully a trophy....

Harlingen more than likely knew nothing about Silsbee and the type of game that is played in Beaumont. Lufkin understands how the game is played. Yes, Silsbee should still win, especially with the whole team there, but playing Harlingen and Lufkin are two different stories.

I remember going to those Lufkin vs NAC bball games, Lufkin could hoop but Nac was a bball school back then. Who has LP played this yr worth anything? Kinda interested in this game, AAW needs to broadcast it.

They both have one thing in common both have set at 5A - #25 lol And both will have played  Silsbee at that rank.  One of them #25 teams has all ready Fallen to the Tigers so we will see what happens with the other one...

Doesn't Lufkin play Yates tomorrow evening?  That may shed some light on how good Lufkin is.

Lufkin is 11-1   with only loss coming to New Caney back on Nov 17th.

Victories over Tyler Lee , College Park (Woodlands) Huntsville and Humble 

and yes they play yates  so we will see if they are for real.

Lufkin lost their star pg to a broken foot and lost one other starter..So they are now with out two starters.
