Joe Jamail passes away at 90

An oft overused description of a person is "one of a kind."  With Jamail, this could not be more true.  Below is a Texas Monthly article written a couple of years ago while he was trying a case in Beaumont.  If colorful language greatly offends you, do not read.  Otherwise, it is kind of long (in Texas Monthly fashion) but also does a fantastic job of capturing the man (also in Texas Monthly fashion).  

RIP Joe.  You will not soon be forgotten.

Great read Hoops!  Quality story about a superstar.  Be it on a playing field, a courtroom, or any other place folks make their living, the superstars make their presence known.  

Not only a superstar, but a guy I'd loved to have been able to sit down and have a drink with.  By all means, RIP.
