TxHoops Posted December 28, 2015 Report Posted December 28, 2015 Very interesting. 3 things in particular:1) ESPN still believes they made a good investment. 2) Aggy AD admits the jealousy. 3) No other university in the country could have pulled off such a deal. Yep. Very interesting indeed. UTfanatic and Mr. Buddy Garrity 2 Quote

UTfanatic Posted December 28, 2015 Report Posted December 28, 2015 And why does an Aggies start a thread about it.hum.......... Quote
PhatMack19 Posted December 29, 2015 Report Posted December 29, 2015 Very interesting. 1) ESPN still believes they made a good investment. ESPN did make a good investment. It was cheaper to lose millions on the LHN and keep the Big 12 together than it would be if the conference blew up and tv contracts had to all be renegotiated. BTW these next rounds of tv contract negations aren't going to go well for the schools. The way people pay for TV is changing and the networks are already starting to make cuts. Quote
