Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted December 30, 2015 Report Posted December 30, 2015 So, BadSanta, is Liberty Hill now the best team that Silsbee have played in the last 15 years or nah?oh boy………. Quote
BADSANTA Posted December 30, 2015 Report Posted December 30, 2015 Liberty Hill was very solid from what I hear. Wouldn't suprise me if the made it to state. Quote
BMTSoulja1 Posted December 30, 2015 Report Posted December 30, 2015 Liberty Hill was very solid from what I hear. Wouldn't suprise me if the made it to state. I like how you sidestepped my question... Quote
TxHoops Posted December 30, 2015 Report Posted December 30, 2015 Liberty Hill was very solid from what I hear. Wouldn't suprise me if the made it to state. with that kind of size at the 4A level and well coached by all accounts, I wouldnot be at all surprised either. Quote
Kountzer Posted December 30, 2015 Report Posted December 30, 2015 What's concerning is both Liberty Hill & Abilene Wylie are buried deep in the TABC 4A polls. One was at # 15, the other at # 18. That goes to show that you really can't go by what the polls say, not all the time. Both of those teams will move up in the next poll. Nobody said it would be easy. Mr. Buddy Garrity 1 Quote
DXTR Posted December 30, 2015 Report Posted December 30, 2015 Silsbee is having problems against teams with quality height. But, much better to face them early in the season than to run up against them for the first time in the playoffs. Quote
BADSANTA Posted December 30, 2015 Report Posted December 30, 2015 I wonder if Silsbee should get away from the platoon subing and go with your best 8 players? Not every team can be worn down. Silsbee best 8 could be the key. Quote
ST413 Posted December 30, 2015 Report Posted December 30, 2015 Hearing the Tigers may have been their own worst enemies in this one. We have to stop worrying about the calls, listen to the coaches and adjust and play together and we will be fine! Quote
Who That Posted December 30, 2015 Report Posted December 30, 2015 They still haft to get past Argyle next the way they played last night I just don't know. I guess will see at 3:00. Quote
Silsbeealum14 Posted December 30, 2015 Report Posted December 30, 2015 Hearing the Tigers may have been their own worst enemies in this one. We have to stop worrying about the calls, listen to the coaches and adjust and play together and we will be fine! They were their on enemies, no fouls was called and they were getting frustrated. Threes weren't falling and tons of layups were missed but no excuses, we had our chances and the better team won. Tough getting down 25-11 early with foul trouble. Learn from this, regroup and don't lose another one !!! ST413 1 Quote
Kountzer Posted December 30, 2015 Report Posted December 30, 2015 Silsbee vs Argyle should be interesting. Let's see how the Tigers bounce back. Quote
whsalum Posted December 30, 2015 Report Posted December 30, 2015 It's 15-18 year old boys who have been on Christmas break. It happens !! TxHoops, Silsbeealum14 and ST413 3 Quote

BADSANTA Posted December 30, 2015 Report Posted December 30, 2015 I saw this being an issue vs Ridge Point. We get to carried away with playing the refs and not just playing the game. My reason for going 8 strong is you need some of those kids to have time to get hot. Adams, and D McCain, long with Maze and Harris are your best outside shooters Quote
BMTSoulja1 Posted December 30, 2015 Report Posted December 30, 2015 I assume by you blatantly ignoring the question, badsanta, that the answer is yes. So that's like what, 4 teams that are the best that Silsbee has played in the last 15 years? Gotcha.... Back to your regularly scheduled program.... Quote
Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted December 30, 2015 Report Posted December 30, 2015 *grabs holiday popcorn* Quote
BADSANTA Posted December 30, 2015 Report Posted December 30, 2015 Silsbee 73 Central 70 in 2015! It matters no more. Silsbee beat 5A #5 BMT Central. The lite Silsbee team brought it that night! Quote
BMTSoulja1 Posted December 30, 2015 Report Posted December 30, 2015 Pass me some of that holiday popcorn. Must task like ginger... Quote
Who That Posted December 30, 2015 Report Posted December 30, 2015 There is still alot of ball still yet to be played.!! Yall don't forget about another team out there Paris " Them and Liberty Hill have both had out standing records the last 3 years but they always seem to stay in the 15 - 20 range in the rankings and they never make it past first are second round of the playoffs. . Tyler Dixson Posted December 30, 2015 Report Posted December 30, 2015 A reoccurring theme I've noticed I a lot of games this year regardless of a win or loss is they get into foul trouble a lot. I know Silsbee plays aggressive but is it that much more revved up then years past? BADSANTA and Mr. Buddy Garrity 2 Quote
Who That Posted December 30, 2015 Report Posted December 30, 2015 Here we go again.! Get it together Silsbee Tigers. Quote
