They will not find a man more committed to Hemphill than John Launius was. Dumbest move they could have made. I'm sure there are some locals that were mad because the coaches son was the Quarterback. Such crap. John has always been a kids first coach. He learned from the best as a player for John Outlaw in high school. Hemphill made a huge mistake getting rid of him. Yes they do, and that is why every coach done wrong by the agenda of a self serving school board has to suffer the consequences. As do all of the athletes negatively affected by those decisions, and the community that elected them. It is a sad situation for the kids of Hemphill and Coach Launius, both will bounce back a be stronger because of it though, just sad because it was a needless decision. Quote
