whsalum Posted January 12, 2016 Report Posted January 12, 2016 Mike is the type player you can use as a role model, regardless of how hard the foul he just gets up wipes off the blood and puts the ball in the hole. No gestures, no fanfare just hoops. Kudos to Thomas as well. You can tell hard work has made him a very good player as well. Quote
stevenash Posted January 12, 2016 Report Posted January 12, 2016 Never does anything to draw attention to himself except play hard and well. I know of several "stars" in the area who would be well served to operate similarly. Quote
BADSANTA Posted January 12, 2016 Report Posted January 12, 2016 Nothing with a kid showing a little spirit on the floor as well. Quote

Dick Vitale Posted January 12, 2016 Report Posted January 12, 2016 stevenash wants the kids to respond as robots would on the court. Similar to cross country runners, Bluedove! LOL BADSANTA 1 Quote
DeuceSixSuited Posted January 12, 2016 Report Posted January 12, 2016 I might have read this wrong but does it say he is 6'4? I did not realize that. He is a great kid and can for sure shoot the ball Quote

DeuceSixSuited Posted January 12, 2016 Report Posted January 12, 2016 If he is 6'4 he should have more than a couple of small schools looking at him. Quote

He is a great kid and can for sure shoot the ball I saw that and was thrown off as well. I thought he was 6'0" at best. and i watched him play Friday evening, so it's not like i hadn't seen him play in a year. who knows, though. Quote
BADSANTA Posted January 12, 2016 Report Posted January 12, 2016 I don't mind see a kid do the dap dance, run off the plug twice dance, or even just high five teammates. Sports is about having fun as well. Kids get emotional after a big play just like the paid athletes do. Quote
Team Game Posted January 12, 2016 Report Posted January 12, 2016 Great kid and has put in the work for sure. Quote
