Well, the last time a prediction of a 40 point win actually happened. Silsbee beat Jasper by 40 the last two seasons. It's been a long time since 2009.

Jasper has that 1 single win and people want to hang on it. smh

That's what happens when a team overlooks the other team and does not take them serious. Staying up all night doing stupid stuff and not caring at all. Same team we beat by 54 in the regular season. You have to take every game serious. We learned that lesson the hard way.

That game was indeed a surprise. The Bailey and Spikes kids were in a grove. They were in our district that year. Our game plan was to hold Bailey to 20. He went off for 38. Lol. He could drain it from beyond NBA land. They just gelled at the right time. They were up on HJ for about three quarters in the finals.

I believe Bailey did not play the first game.  Probably wouldn't have made that big of a difference, but doubtful it would have been a 50 point blowout.  This year, I don't think it 6 players on the court would have made up the difference.
