Interesting projected placement for Coldspring.

District 12-3a staying the same.

Poor Coldspring if this happens. They will be traveling some SERIOUS miles.

Halletsville may be a bit over the top, but I know schools in that part of the world that have been having to make those drives for many years.

Just a quick seems to make it look that if Coldspring in not in 12-3A-I, that the best fit for them otherwise would be in projected 10-3A-I.  I haven't crunched the numbers, so they may not be any better off in 10, but it just appears that way.

I would like to hear AAW or BG take on this. Somebody in my opinion is going to get screwed here in Region III.

I agree that they fit better in 10, but keeping Region 3 and Region 4 even numbers wise is going to be tough. It will be interesting to see how it plays out in a couple of weeks.

Yes, with this projection Coldspring is really the only one getting a raw deal.

The question is does something like that look better, or something like this:

Trinity, Coldspring, Woodville, Warren, Kirbyville, Buna, Kountze

12-3A
Hempstead, Hardin, East Chambers, Anahuac, Hitchcock, La Marque

All I am saying is I agree with Stepp's prediction. 

Reason being is that I would speculate that the UIL works from the periphery of the state first, then inwards when aligning districts. So, SETX District 12 might fill up first, then Trinity and CS would work into other districts, like Stepps 10 and 13. 

Just my guess, nothing more.

I'm fine with it if it stays the same. Trinity can go north as long as they are put in a district with "all 3 major sports"
