#20 Hardin Jefferson vs #1 Silsbee (Hardin County Havoc 2016 Part 1)

Silsbee has not had a freshmen team since before the holidays because of grades. 2 play varsity, 4 play JV. The rest are ineligible (about 6). If any of those are passing, they will not be eligible till next Friday.

This is why there will only be two games Tuesday.

Honestly don't know haven't seen them but once it's been a problem all season but it does seem like there was 9 or 10 the one time I remember.  Early on there was enough for JV and freshmen to be in different tourneys.

Silsbee freshman need to get those grades together. That's more important 5han basketball any day of the week.

No smack talk by the Hardin Jefferson faithful. This is truly unlike you guys. HJ has a darn good team this season. How do you guys see the game playing out?

I think that the HJ faithful have been overwhelmed by all of this talk of Silsbee winning the next four district titles plus a state title or two.  Plus, they don't want to be criticized for believing in their program and that is almighty. Hence, they have capitulated  But I have to hand it to you Santa, you have made a valiant effort to draw them out.

If they beat Silsbee, they will come out like those Cowboys fans! I don't see Silsbee losing this game. I do see Saldin and Parquet keep it close. Both of them may go for 25 each. I haven't been impressed by Silsbee defense as of late.

Last year was a big upset in Silsbee. I think the Tigers better come out ready. HJ has a solid squad!!

Silsbee is playing for #22 ~ 100%.! H.J. Better be the ones ready is all I'm saying. I know for a fact" Silsbee will be ready you can bet that.!

Little need for anyone from HJ to comment. There are enough Silsbee people keeping the threads going. HJ has nothing to lose, they aren't the top ranked team in the state and are not expected win. Just hope it is a good game and there are no injuries.

Nice pot stirring, No look.  You may also now be accused of believing that you think the HJ program is the almighty.( But at least you didn't commit the mortal sin of mentioning past state titles.  Its hard to accept that we are going to lose 8 straight games to the Tigers but as AAW said, it is what it is.
