Tight District this year.  Liberty, Huffman, Shepherd, Coldspring, Cleveland, Tarkington all in the race.

Tarkington losses were in overtime to Liberty and a very close game to Shepherd.  Huffman loss wasn't close.

Coldspring Friday is another important game.  Tough place to win.

This is the third time in about the last 10 years that Tarkington has beaten Cleveland. Heck of a game last night, Horns had a 17 point lead with about a minute left in the third. Credit the Indians for battling back and taking a one-point lead, late in the fourth quarter. Should be an interesting finish to the district.

Tarkington beat Cleveland in 2008, 2010 - If my brain is functioning correctly. I think those were the two years.

Agreed.  Scrappy team as well.  This game is "surprising" but not "shocking" to me (if that makes any sense).

Tarkington is scrappy! Always have been since I played, but I've saw Tarkington play this year and #4 and #5 are good players with #5 having a heck of a shot

I saw Tarkington at the Leggett and Bridge City tournaments. I can honestly say not one time did the thought of them beating Cleveland and competing for a playoff spot cross my mind while watching them.

Decent team but to me it says more about how district 23-4A could be down more than I thought.

I saw on YouTube Cleveland had a guard who looked real solid. Did he quit? About 6'2
