14U tournaments?

Hey guys, how are the 14U turnouts out at Ford Park? We have pretty much just played local but will be venturing out that way to play a few tourneys.

I dont remember how much farther Lumberton is from Ford Park so I could be wrong. My team isnt a huge organization so I dont know how well we will travel. For the past 6-7 months we have just played local. I can see most of my parents probably wanting to play closer at BLD but i dont know yet.

How are the fields out there?

There are two fields.  One that is too small for 14U and one larger field. (That is why the tourneys are limited to 7 or 8 teams).  Turf infield, 300ft outfield.  Field is in excellent shape.  Hope this helps.

Nice.  The fields we have been playing on here in Laporte the back stop is a mile away from the home plate.

If you play USSSA, they have tournaments at Carlos Garza Park in Texas City. Those fields are decent. They also have tourneys in BLD, Alvin, and Freedom Park in Katy. Freedom Park is new, haven't seen those fields yet. Nations has tourneys at Baseball USA, Doss Park in NW Houston, and Spring.
