Nederland @ Central...Thoughts?

I really expected some splits in that district other than Ozen and Central...Can Nederland pull it off at Central Tuesday night?

Possibly, they need to learn how to finish off a game.

A split will be tough. IMO Ned matches up better against Ozen. Hopefully Central will have a hiccup, but doubtful. Ned will need to block out better than we have all year

It's tough to win at Central. I agree that we match up better against Ozen overall. The reason Ozen beat us is because we didn't have an answer for Boyd. He knows how to use his big body, and we didn't have enough muscle to stop him. In regards to Central, hopefully English has something up his sleeve that will frustrate them. We need a kid off the bench to come in and hit some big shots for us.

Should be a good game but I  give the Jaguars the edge at home. If Central is hitting outside shots they will win by double digits.

No lol. But the gym will be packed with a lot of past and present gym rats in that regard.

there are only a few competitive games in district, which makes games like this fun for players and fans. Looking forward to it!!

Well, since I am not a player, I'm going to say that Central should focus on Ozen.  Nederland should focus on maintaining that 3rd place spot. It won't matter if Central wins in overtime or by 15 points. A 'L" is a 'L"  no matter how you spin it.

Ned cant turn the ball over on the press. Turnovers kill that team. I look for a big game from Miguez. Nederland had the lead in the 4th of the last game. It's tough having to play Ozen and Central back to back. Hopefully its a great game.

Sorry, even if Nederland does not turn it over much, Central will take this one. Just prepare for the 2nd season coming up. Thats where the fun starts.
