I'm surprised (and disappointed) that it ended up this way, but looking forward to seeing how Jasper stacks up with Tatum and Diboll. It seems like Jasper gets moved drastically every time realignment comes along. A little continuity would be nice.

I hear ya. It's nice to stay with the same teams and build rivalries and although I was a little disappointed about moving into a different district, it will be nice to see some different teams we aren't used to seeing on a regular basis. If Tatum makes the playoffs, it will make it interesting to play against our old district mates in the first few rounds.

It's sad for Jasper on receiving any media coverage.  Once they start district; Jasper will not get any coverage because they will be so far north which cuts the exposure for their program and kids.  Hopefully, schedule will include teams in the golden triangle as non district opponents.

I'm not sleepin on 'em. I think they'll be pretty good. I just think if Barker can come in and do what he's done everywhere else he has been....we should be at the top of the district. We have a lot for him to work with. Gonna be a fun ride.

Who knows? Maybe Jasper and Tatum start a little rivalry from this. The thing is that Jasper could very well be back to playing in a Golden Triangle district again in two years. I hate the flip-flopping, but Jasper is in a really bad spot on the map.
